What can this audio test check?

Use this page as a quick headphone test, headset test, stereo channel test, or speaker test. It can help you confirm whether your left and right audio channels are working before a call, meeting, game, or recording session.

One side is silent?

Reconnect the headset, check the plug or Bluetooth connection, then verify your system's left/right balance settings.

Channels reversed?

Make sure the headset is worn correctly and check whether your operating system or audio software is swapping channels.

One side is quieter?

Check balance settings and try another device. Debris, cable wear, or a failing driver can also reduce one side.

Does this work with headphones, headsets, earbuds, and speakers?

Yes. Any stereo audio device connected to your computer or phone should work, including wired headphones, Bluetooth headsets, earbuds, laptop speakers, and external stereo speakers.

Can I use this with laptop speakers?

Yes. If your laptop exposes normal left and right stereo channels, the Left and Right tests should play from the corresponding side.
